We meet every Tuesday and I almost never miss. I met my publisher through a connection at my writer group, too! Ex pat living in PaP Haiti for 37 years, tough to find someone here! Great information. Some are good, some not so good. LinkedIn seems to be a good source, and some facebook groups are very good. I live in Toronto where there are no writers circles. All they have are courses!

I am all coursed out, online writing group. I know exactly what I need to give me a boost and that is one another person to bounce ideas off of. Or a co- writer, online writing group. My main problem with writing my own material is reproducing a joke from start to finish that is easy to remember once given a body and substance. Or sometimes two writers who are very different in the type of writing can be as equally objective with invaluable input for one another.

I am most definitely bonkers and most anyone I know will provide circumstantial evidence! My motive is to get unstuck so I may take the stage again.
